You are Enough

We share tools and resources to help you and your loved ones cope with mental health issues, specifically depression, social anxiety, bullying, and suicide.

If you are considering hurting yourself, please call or text 988 now.

A suicide prevention safety plan is a personalized, practical tool to help guide you through difficult moments. It provides clear steps you can follow to keep yourself safe when you're feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or having thoughts of suicide. Creating a step-by-step plan in advance can make a big difference. When a crisis hits, you will have a guide to help you focus, find support, and move toward safety one step at a time. Make sure your safety plan is easy to access when you need it most. Whether it's written down or saved on your phone, having it ready can be a powerful way to protect yourself in moments of distress.

Suicide Prevention Plans Work

49,000 Suicides in 2023

In 2023, over 49,000 people died by suicide in the U.S. That is one life lost every 11 minutes, according to the CDC. These are not just numbers, they are people; family, friends, siblings, coworkers, and neighbors. Mental health struggles are real and often silent. Please check in on your people and be gentle with yourself. You never know what someone is carrying.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

In the month of May, we shine a light on the importance of mental health. It’s a time to break the stigma, start real conversations, and remind each other that it’s okay not be okay. Mental health affects everyone, no matter your age, background, or story. If you are struggling, healing, or supporting someone else... you are not alone. Use this month to educate, empathize, and uplift each other. Check in with yourself, check in with others, and remember taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body.

If you or someone you know is in mental distress, CALL or TEXT 988 or go to https://988lifeline.org for help.

This is Alberto … and this is his story

Thank you @Alberto Suarez for having the strength to make the right decision. You are an amazing person, and I wish only the best for you in this new journey. As for your voice note, it brought tears to my eyes and peace to my soul, knowing that the work I am doing on behalf of my Kathy is making a difference.

Thank you for staying!

Suicide Prevention is Everyday

As we come together to share our stories of loved ones we lost to suicide, we do so in the hopes of helping others through their darkest moments. The first part of this video is of Kathy’s dad walking in the Pyrenees to honor Kathy’s 27th birthday in 2024 and the second part is one of his life’s greatest moments in 2019 … their father-daughter dance. 💔

Stop Bullying

Bullying is not just harmless teasing...it can deeply wound a person’s sense of self and impact their mental health for a long time. When someone is bullied, they may feel isolated, anxious, depressed, or even hopeless. These are not just feelings...they are real consequences that can affect every part of their life.

No one deserves to feel worthless or scared because of how others treat them. We all have a responsibility to stand up, speak out, and show kindness. A few words can tear someone down, but they can also build someone up.

Suicide Prevention Starts with All of Us

We all have the power to make a difference. If someone you love is struggling with their mental health. Reach out. Ask the difficult questions. Even if it feels uncomfortable, those conversations could save a life. Talking about suicide does not plant the idea, it opens the door to hope, to help, and to healing. Your support and presence matter more than you know. Together, we can break the silence and save lives.

Depression Does NOT Discriminate

It doesn’t matter how old you are, where you're from, what you've achieved, or how strong you appear on the outside, depression can affect anyone. You can be surrounded by people and still feel alone. You can smile in every photo and still be fighting a silent battle. You can have a great job, a loving family, and everything going right, and still feel like you are drowning. That is the reality of depression. It doesn’t always look like sadness and it is not always visible.

The truth is, we never know what someone is going through behind closed doors. Check-in on your loved ones, ask the difficult questions, and be the safe space they might desperately need.

“I could have prevented it if I had known that some of Kathy’s behaviors were symptomatic and indicative of severe depression. After this revelation, I made a personal commitment to raise awareness and help others suffering from mental health issues.”

“Together, we can work towards a future where mental health is openly discussed and supported, bringing comfort and assistance to those who need it the most.”

“During a long and fulfilling career in higher education, I found myself at a crossroads. In April 2022, I faced a heartbreaking tragedy when I lost my stepdaughter to suicide. This devastating event forced me to reevaluate my life’s direction.”

“After 40-plus hours of traveling, the plane landed in the US, and without words, my red puffy eyes and runny nose told a story of despair and loss.”
